DO PORCELAIN VENEERS EVER COME OFF?
There are a number of cosmetic and functional benefits offered by porcelain veneers, but they are not a permanent solution. Porcelain veneers are long-lasting, often maintaining their strength and appearance for ten or more years. However, they can break, fall off, or need to be replaced due to wear.
When your porcelain veneers come off, Barrie dentist, Dr. Adam Chapnick, can create and place a new veneer. This process takes very little time, but will be necessary to keep your smile as healthy and beautiful as possible. It is important to remember that porcelain veneers are not reversible. Once tooth enamel has been removed for their placement, you will need to have a dental veneer over the front of your tooth at all times to maintain your smile’s appearance and ensure optimal physical comfort.
