THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR CONSULTATION

If you’re reading this post and visiting this site as part of your research into cosmetic dentistry, you’re already on the right track. At the Chapnick Dental Office, we always recommend our Barrie-area residents do extensive research into the procedures available to them and the issues they might be facing.

However, the fact remains that, as crucially important as it is to do extensive research before going to a cosmetic dentist, there are some things research can’t do for you. You can gain a good sense of what your problems might be and how best to address them, but there’s only one way to be sure: going to the cosmetic dentist’s office for a consultation.

We offer three different consultations:

• General: This is a short meeting (15 or 20 minutes), where you’ll talk with a treatment coordinator and ask any questions you might have. This consultation is free.
• An Examination: During a consultation with an examination, one of our cosmetic dentists will conduct a thorough dental exam to determine if you are free of gum disease and tooth decay. If you are, you can then move forward with an appointment for a specific procedure.
• Treatment consultations: Based on the procedures that we determine are right for you, we will hold a consultation that is tailored to your specific needs. Our cosmetic dentist will begin to plan your treatment regimen at this point.
